Sinclair POV
After breakfast, Adrian and I went to see Dr. Moreno. He was holding my hand and kept kissing the back of it.
“Have you thought about names?” I asked.
“I have, but I didn’t want to say anything yet.”
“Why?”
“Because I figured you probably had some ideas. You knew before I did,” he replied.
“How about we talk about it some more after I talk to Aric. Then I really need to check the mainframe. Speaking of which, did you grab my backpack?”
“Yeah, it’s in my office. We can go there to call Aric and talk about baby names,” he said, smiling.
‘He’s going to be an excellent dad, Clair.’
‘I see that. It makes me even more excited to have them.’
‘Five really isn’t that many.’
‘If he keeps being this wonderful, I’m going to want six.’
‘I like how he wants to make them with us. It’s very…satisfying,’ Mali said.
‘Mali, have some decency.’
‘Girl, you already sat on his face. Don’t talk about decency now.’
I blushed at the memory. I wasn’t expecting to do that; he grabbed me and placed me there before I understood what was happening. It was pretty incredible though.
“Why are you blushing?” Adrian asked, and it made me blush harder.
“Nothing. Mali is being Mali.”
He stopped and pulled me into his arms. “Tell me.”
“She was saying you are going to make a wonderful father and I agreed. Then she was talking about how making pups is very satisfying.”
His smile looked very smug. “That’s not going to make you blush. What else did she say?”
“I don’t know what you are talking about. Let’s go,” I said, trying to pull away, but he pulled me back in his arms.
“We are not moving from this spot until you fess up, little sin.”
I sighed and turned red again. Fine. “I told her to have some decency, and she told me I already sat on your face and shouldn’t talk about decency now.”
His eyes danced with amusement as he laughed. “I love your wolf.”
“Can we go now?”
“Yup. But just so you know,” he said and then leaned into my ear, “You’ll be doing that again tonight.”
My eyes widened, and I suddenly felt desire, which I know he scented because I saw his nostrils flare. Then he smiled smugly.
At the hospital, Dr. Moreno said my labs looked good. Then we did another ultrasound. Once Adrian saw our pups again, he smiled widely.
“You are definitely having a boy and a girl. Both are healthy. Your son is a little smaller than your daughter. They both are growing well though,” Dr. Moreno said.
“Um, can I get a picture of them?” I asked.
Adrian looked at me curiously. I’ll explain it to him shortly; right now I just want the picture.
