Aiden POV

Both sides clash against each other. This is a full-on brawl now. Warriors are coming to blows. Thalia is taking on Julian, and I am nearby in case she needs me.

Adrian and Sinclair are beating the shit out of some of the rogues, and honestly, those two alone are picking them off.

Isaiah is going after Paul. Why the hell he decided to get mixed up in this is beyond me, but who can explain the inner workings of an idiot? Who would want to try?

I am fighting two maws, and Valeno comes up from behind me with additional maws. We worked together and started picking off each of Julian’s warriors. Meanwhile, my warriors are fighting between maws and rogues.

In the distance, I see Isaiah and Paul fighting. Paul is trying to stab Isaiah with a silver knife. I cannot lose anyone else. Kaia would have my balls, too, right after Thalia.

“I need to go help my brother!” I yelled at Valeno.

“Go! We got this.”

I started sprinting towards my brother as Paul brought that knife down on Isaiah. Leon snarls inside me, and I jump, shift mid-air, and land on Paul. He is knocked to the ground. Isaiah grabs Paul, lifts him over his head, and throws him against a tree.

“That was for hurting my mate!” he said, kicking him in the gut. “And this is for putting her in a hospital!”

He crushed his knee, and Paul screamed out. But then Isaiah grabbed Paul by the hair. “I showed you mercy for your father’s sake, not this time, though.”

Isaiah looked over at Kaia and nodded. She is going to take him out, execution style. Well, she is a hitman.

“You got this, bro?”

“I do. I appreciate your help. Get out of here,” Isaiah said.

As soon as I turned around, I heard the shot. Paul is dead. I have no reason to waste any more time on him. Isaiah is going to be Kaia’s hero tonight. We just need to finish this war first.

‘WHO HAS EYES ON OUR LUNA?!’ I called out in the link. I’m looking around, and I don’t see her.

‘She went after Julian and is in the middle of the field fighting him, Alpha!’

I immediately head to the middle of the field, and I see two maws holding Thalia, and she is on her knees. Julian is pointing the original tool at her. Thalia is struggling against the grip of the two maws.

“THALIA!” I screamed as I rushed to her.

Before I reached her, Nyx pulled away from Thalia and snapped the tool Julian was holding in half. Julian backed away and looked between Nyx and Thalia. Some of Julian’s goons and rogues were circling Julian, Nyx, and Thalia.

‘CREATE A BARRIER BETWEEN JULIAN’S MEN AND JULIAN NOW!’ I screamed.

The warriors, using their gifts, started pulling trees down and created a barricade, stopping Julian’s men from reaching him. Julian is backing up, and Nyx is advancing and growling at Julian like a predator. She is out for blood.

“Nyx, NO!” Thalia said.

Nyx stopped. “HE’S MINE!” Thalia screamed.

She suddenly flipped over the maws holding her and broke from their grasp. Nyx ran, leaped, and joined back with Thalia. Thalia then did something I didn’t even know she could do. She ripped the arms off of the maws with her own hands.

They screamed in agony and fell to the ground, clutching the stumps of the severed arms. Holy Moon Goddess. I’m ruthless, and even I think that is the most badass thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
