His plump mate (Rebel and Austin) by Buchanan novel Chapter 715

Kaia POV

There are times in life that you think things will finally come to an end, only to find out you were wrong. Isaiah and I showed Paul kindness because of Max. Max was a solid Alpha and Father-In-Law.

Seeing Paul here with Julian only confirms what an idiot he has always been. He didn’t appreciate the mate bond with Sinclair’s sister. Didn’t appreciate the marriage with me. He embezzled pack funds and Black Enterprise funds. Even Ironclaw was treated like one big, orgy-filled frat house. He really is a terrible person.

I’m in position as a sniper. That is my role in this war—that and getting everyone into the safe rooms. Since the safe room is done, I’m now in position to take out wolves and maws as needed.

Isaiah is being stubborn, and instead of sitting this round out, he is on the front lines with the rest of the family.

‘Are you in position, Trouble?’

‘You know it, Stickler. Can I shoot Paul now and get it over with?’

He laughed in the mind link. ‘Save your bullets. If Paul becomes a problem, don’t hesitate,’ he advised.

I pouted. ‘Ugh! Fine. But if anyone is fighting him, it’s me. He’s mine. I’ve wanted a piece of him since he broke my face.’

‘Trouble, he’s still an alpha.’

‘I’m still a hitman. What’s your point?’

‘Stop causing trouble,’ he chuckled.

I scoffed. ‘We are mates because I’m the fun one, stickler.’

‘Are you calling me boring? You remember what happened last time you tried to say I live in a gray world, Trouble.’

I shivered. ‘Are you putting it on our list?’

‘Behave,’ he growled.

I laughed. ‘Never. Now, let’s kick ass and take names.’

Julian POV

Jeanine was every bit compliant once she saw I wasn't someone to trifle with. She may be a rogue, but she isn’t stupid, and she is a decent fuck. Candy was still better. Damn shame about her.

Now we have returned to the ‘Blackclaw’ territory. I am surprised to see more warriors. But what surprised me even more was seeing Thalia’s maw. Nyx is a black beauty. She may be all black, but her features are stunning. She is clearly being wasted on Aiden.
