Claim

We headed out with Mom and Dad going in one SUV and me and my brothers in another one. When we got to the bakery, it was packed with people. Most of them were just picking up their stuff and leaving, but a few people were sitting at the tables. From the looks of things, Effie’s bakery was a big hit.

While we were standing in line, I heard the girls behind the counter talking about how Rose had to make more of the breakfast sandwiches because they had almost sold out once already. As we were standing in line, I saw her come from the back with more to restock them. She glanced up and saw us and hurried up

to restock the biscuits and then head into the back.

She was so fucking beautiful, and I missed her so damn much. “Other than the hair and the eyes, that sure

does look like our missing daughter–in–law, Alena,” my dad said. “It does, and I’m positive that it’s her. Especially after eating a few of the different pastries and desserts that she makes. The same ones that

she used to make for all of us. We’ll get things cleared up and get her back with us where she belongs,”

Mom said.

When we were finally able to step up to the counter, we each ordered one of each of the breakfast biscuits

and coffee. Plus, mom got donuts and a few other things. And I ordered a few different cheesecakes.

After Dad and the boys ordered what they wanted, I paid for our food and left a tip for the girls.

After we had all of our stuff, we moved to a table and sat down to eat our food. I kept watching the door to the back, hoping that I would get another glance at her. I watched as Effie and another girl brought out more biscuits to restock them. Then she went into the back again. It wasn’t long, and she came back out

to talk to the girls. And this time, she was carrying my son.

When I sucked in a breath at the sight of him, mom, dad and the boys all looked towards Effie. When they saw the little boy in her arms, they saw the same thing that I did. My mini me looking up at his mom with a big smile. He had a sippy cup in his hands and kept sucking on it and then babbling at Effie. When she smiled down at him and tickled his toes, we could hear his little giggles all the way over here.

I smiled at the sight of them both. She was such a good mom to our son. And I couldn’t wait until I had my family back with me. After the girls finished stocking the front case, Effie went back into the back, and I sat watching the door.

“He looks so much like you that he could be your twin. He’s definitely your mini–me. Oh, I can’t wait to get my hands on him. I can’t believe that I have another grandson. He is just so stinking cute, and those baby giggles,” my mom gushed. I know what she meant. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on him, and I wasn’t going to wait much longer.

I finished eating and then excused myself from the table. “Excuse me for a minute. I’ll be right back. I think it’s time that she and I set aside time for a conversation. Because I won’t be without my woman or son anymore. I’ll be right back,” I said as I stood up and headed for the door to the back, I don’t care if she’s ready or not. Effie and I are going to sit down and hash shit out. Because I won’t be without my future wife or my son anymore. Ready or not, baby, here I come. And you better protect your ass, because you’re
