“You know him?”

“Would a witness work?”

She stood up. “It’s getting late. Let me take you to grab some clothes so you can change, then I’ve gotta head home.”

Jasmine took Sheldon to a nearby casual-wear store and picked out a simple outfit for him: a pair of durable jeans, a plain thermal shirt, and a fleece-lined leather jacket.

“Not bad. Cleans up nice.”
