**Through Silent Meadows We Trace Stories Left Behind Yesterday by Asa Rowan Flint**
**Chapter 46**

Once back in the confines of his room, Liam unleashed a tempest of fury, hurling objects with reckless abandon until the air was thick with the remnants of his rage. The sound of shattering glass and wood echoed through the space, a chaotic symphony of his inner turmoil.

Sophie was growing older by the day, and with each passing moment, his frustration mounted.

Not only had she dared to conceal a man from him, but she had also had the audacity to return his jacket and flaunt it as if it were a badge of honor!

The wedding could no longer be postponed; it had to happen, and soon!

The more he ruminated on the situation, the more his anger simmered, bubbling just beneath the surface. Gripping his phone tightly, he dialed his assistant with a sense of urgency.

“Is everything prepared for tomorrow?” he demanded, his voice taut with tension.

“Yes, Mr. Morgan. Everything is in order. There won’t be any issues,” came the quick reply, but then there was a pause that made Liam’s heart race.

“Additionally,” the assistant continued, “we discovered who has been spending time with Miss Chandler recently.”

Liam’s voice sharpened like a knife. “Who is it?”

“Ryan Mason.”

The word hit Liam like a physical blow.

Crash!

In a fit of rage, the phone flew from his hand, colliding with the wall and shattering into pieces.

His entire being trembled, a storm of emotions swirling within him, his face darkened with a fury that was almost palpable.

So that was why Zack had been so keen to treat Sophie; it wasn’t due to Marcus at all.

It was because of Ryan!

When had Sophie managed to entangle herself with the Mason family?

The remnants of his broken phone buzzed on the floor, a reminder of his frayed nerves. He picked it up, heart racing, and answered the call.

“Mr. Morgan? What can I do for you at this hour?”

“Bring me Liora’s designs. Immediately.”

“Yes, sir.”

The call ended abruptly, and Liam sank into the depths of the sofa, a deep frown etched on his face.

The Starlight Cup was looming on the horizon.
