Chapter 799 Go Celebrate On Your Own
No matter how much you disliked someone, you still had to put on a façade of harmony. That’s just the way it is among the upper crust.
Thalia came to terms with this quickly. She held the gift box in her hand, not even bothering to open it, and she and Natasha continued their walk in the garden, working off their meal.
Natasha linked arms with her, picking up where they left off. “Thalia, since Darion’s heading back to the Blackburn family’s old house for the holidays, where should we go? How about we go somewhere fun? Maybe a hot spring resort?”
Thalia nodded. “Sure.”
Natasha was practically bouncing with excitement. “Alright, let me check out which hot spring resorts are the best.”
As the sky grew darker and the air turned colder, the two of them decided not to linger outside any longer and headed back inside the villa.
When the night was completely dark, snowflakes suddenly started to drift down from the sky.
Keith wheeled himself onto the balcony, his face lit up with excitement as he stared at the falling snow.
“Grandma, can I build a snowman tomorrow?” he asked, his voice full of anticipation. Helen smiled gently, walked over, and ruffled his hair. “This snow probably won’t pile up much, but if you want to build a snowman, we can always go to the ski resort.”
“I want to go!” Keith exclaimed, nodding enthusiastically.
“I want to go with Darry and Tally too!”
Helen’s smile froze for a second before she said, “Darry hasn’t recovered yet, so he can’ t join you.”
Keith piped up, “Then can Tally come instead? I really want to play with her.”
Helen replied softly, “Tally needs to stay and look after Darry. Once they’re both feeling better, they can join you.”
