Chapter 802 Game Over
Natasha sat on the couch, resting her chin in her hand as she watched everything play out. She sighed and shook her head.
‘That’s it. Game over, she thought.
‘Who could possibly take this?’ Natasha wondered.
After another round of acupuncture and some herbal medicine, Natasha checked Darion’s pulse again.
With a serious look, Natasha said, “That’s odd. Most of the toxins are gone, so why aren’t you feeling any better?”
She glanced at him and suggested, “Maybe you should get checked at the hospital again, just to see if there’s anything wrong with your optic nerve.”
“Yeah,” Darion replied. “I’ll go after Christmas.”
Natasha suggested, “Or maybe you could have Ms. Perry take another look at you. She’ s got real skills.”
“Maybe later,” Darion replied.
His tone was noticeably colder.
Natasha raised an eyebrow and leaned in close to Thalia, whispering, “Is he just trying to avoid running into his love rival?”
Thalia was typing on her phone and said, “We’re heading to South Mountain Hot Spring Resort for Christmas. Everything’s already arranged.”
Natasha grinned. “Babe, are you trying to dodge the question?”
“So, are you coming or not?” Natasha pressed.
Thalia put down her phone and looked at Natasha with those clear, cool eyes.
“Of course I’m going!” Natasha said, zipping her lips with a playful gesture. “But just the two of us might get boring. Should we invite some friends? It’d be perfect if we could get four people together. Then we could play poker together.”
Thalia’s eyes lit up. She thought that was a great idea.
She typed on her phone, “I’ll ask Bonnie and Viola.”
After a pause, she shook her head and typed, “Viola’s probably so caught up in Jason’s drama that she won’t be in the mood for any fun.”
