The two men stood there like kings emerging from the abyss.

One wore a slate-gray trench coat over a powerful build, his silver-rimmed glasses doing nothing to hide his overwhelmingly intimidating aura.

The other stepped out of a luxury SUV in a tailored dark suit. His leather shoes splashed against a puddle, and beneath his black umbrella, he radiated pure, unadulterated hostility.

The two men faced each other. Asher pushed his glasses up his nose, offering a mocking sneer.

"I thought you said it was none of your business."

Hayden's long fingers tapped rhythmically against the handle of his umbrella, producing a dull, ominous thud.

"Who said I was looking for Zoe? I'm here for a drink."

He brushed past Asher and strode inside. Asher scoffed coldly and followed right behind him.

The two of them did another full lap around the club but still couldn't find a trace of those two reckless women.

As they passed a VIP booth, someone reached out, grabbed both of their arms, and yanked them inside.

"What took you so long? At least you two finally graced us with your presence," Ian Varley said with an air of mystery.

Ian was acting incredibly secretive.

"Guess who I just saw."

Ethan Montgomery winked conspiratorially.

"Zoe. She was out there hitting on some pretty boy. Looked like he barely cracked twenty."

Hayden's face looked dangerously sharp in the dim lighting of the booth. He couldn't mask the fury burning in his eyes, his jaw clenched tight enough to shatter bone.

"That's exactly who Zoe is. She slept with our Hayden five years ago, so isn't it totally normal for her to be hunting for a new sugar daddy now? Except—"

Ian was practically dancing on a minefield, totally oblivious to the lethal danger.

"You guys still have a marriage license, don't you? She's literally cheating on you right out in the open."

Hayden's face went completely livid, the veins on his forehead bulging.

Asher sat on the leather sofa and shrugged off his coat. His black silk shirt had two buttons undone, giving a subtle glimpse of his muscular chest.

Behind his lenses, his deep eyes carried a careless, mocking glint.
