Hearing Hayden's promise was like taking a calming pill. Sienna immediately replied, "Mom, Hayden says he'll figure something out. Please don't panic."

Mrs. Winters cried and cursed simultaneously. "That backstabbing bitch Zoe! I even told you to give that gold bracelet to her daughter today, and this is how she repays me! I treated her like family, and she wants your father dead! How did I give birth to such an ungrateful monster?"

Sienna scoffed coldly but kept comforting her. "Don't worry, Mom. I didn't give her the bracelet. She and her daughter don't deserve it."

Hearing this, Hayden's brow furrowed slightly. In a flash, he glanced at Sienna, noticing the faint tears gathering in the corners of her eyes. He pulled out a tissue and gently wiped them away.

It's bad for your reputation. Zoe, ask Mr. Thorne to step over to my car for a chat."

Zoe had been enjoying the drama from the sidelines and hadn't expected to be called out. Going over there now to break up the happy couple felt a bit awkward.

Hayden didn't refuse, though he maintained his gentle demeanor toward Sienna. "Take Holden and get in the car first."

But Arthur Sr. spoke up again. "I think Mr. Thorne should call a cab for Ms. Winters. It's really not appropriate for her to ride in that car."

Sienna froze. Even the usually unruly Holden sensed the shift in atmosphere and was too scared to make a peep. She looked at Hayden with a mix of resentment and pleading. The Kendalls were being absolute bullies. Why shouldn't she be allowed to ride in his car?

Seeing Sienna's stubborn refusal to move, Arthur Sr. dropped all pleasantries. "Ms. Winters, are you completely unaware of your own status? Do you have any right to sit in that vehicle? That is my daughter's husband's car. Are mistresses really this brazen nowadays? Sneaking around isn't enough, so now you're resorting to open robbery?"
