Nadia kept trying to sing, leaving Zoe with no choice but to coax her like a toddler. She had the two VIP hosts gently hold her, patting her back to provide a soothing, sleep-inducing service.

The guys were clearly professionals. Their soft whispers and gentle handling actually managed to calm Nadia down, and Zoe finally let out a long sigh of relief.

With the way Nadia was acting, anyone walking in would have assumed she was the one getting divorced.

Zoe checked her watch anxiously. It was nearing midnight. Right on cue, Asher Kendall appeared like a dark cloud.

Seeing Nadia draped over two male hosts, his expression instantly turned thunderous.

He wasn't the least bit surprised to see Zoe there. His lips curled into a sneer, his eyes full of absolute mockery and disgust.

"Mrs. Thorne. I suppose Mr. Thorne wasn't keeping you satisfied, so you had to come out looking for wild meals."

Zoe didn't have a shred of goodwill toward Asher either. If it weren't for this man, Nadia wouldn't be drowning her sorrows in the first place.

She decided it was time to clear the air.

"If you have enough free time to lecture me, Mr. Kendall, maybe you should take a hard look at your own issues first."

Asher gave her a hostile glare before reaching out and yanking Nadia into his chest. In one fluid motion, he shoved the two male hosts hard enough to send them sprawling to the floor.

He held Nadia in a vice grip, radiating a terrifyingly possessive energy.

Zoe could see it plainly—Asher was in love with Nadia.

If he wasn't, he wouldn't have reacted so violently.

The manager recognized Asher and didn't dare breathe a word. He quietly had his staff help the bruised hosts away before making himself scarce.

"My issues?"

Asher's gaze was murderous.

He pulled out his phone and dialed Hayden.

"Come pick her up."

He said those five words the second the line connected, then hung up immediately.

He didn't give Hayden a single second to reply.

Zoe's voice turned ice-cold. "Mr. Kendall, Hayden and I are divorced. I'd appreciate it if you stopped summoning him every time you see me."

Asher didn't even look at her, his face a mask of extreme rage.

"I don't care about your marital drama. I've told you time and time again—stay away from Nadia."

This time, Zoe blocked his path.

"Nadia is in love with you. Don't act like you don't know that."

Zoe was half-tempted to throw a drink in the man's face to wake him up.

Asher ignored her completely.

Outside, Garrett had spotted Asher's car and immediately knew something was wrong.
