Zoe shot Sienna a bewildered look. The way she was framing it, it sounded like they had only rejected Zachary because Easton had done it first.

As if Sienna was some visionary genius and they were just following in her glorious footsteps.

Ethan bought every word of it, his eyes practically shining with admiration.

He couldn't believe a woman was capable of making such massive strategic decisions with such poise.

Even an experienced businessman like him felt humbled in her presence.

But aside from Ethan, no one else at the table took a single word she said seriously.

Hayden knew the exact truth, but he didn't expose her. He was always on her side, perfectly content to let her spin her lies.

Zoe and Garrett didn't give a damn about her posturing.

Zachary was the one who had canceled on Easton before coming to them. Their refusal to work with him was based purely on protecting their own intellectual property—it had absolutely nothing to do with copying Easton.

Lunch wrapped up. They had originally planned to head back to the base, but Sienna was there, invited by Timothy himself. Sienna had zero security clearance.

"Zoe, Garrett, I'm deadly serious about partnering with you. Timothy's boss and I go way back—can't you put in a good word? With my firm's backing, we would dominate the market. I guarantee you won't find a better partner anywhere in the world. Your emotional AI bot is lightyears ahead of the curve. This generation is desperate for emotional companionship but terrified of actual commitment. The financial ceiling on this project is nonexistent."

Zachary didn't stop to take a breath. He popped open his briefcase, pulling out a fully drafted contract and a sleek, unlimited black card.
