Beatrice tried to convince Zoe and Lily to stay at Thorne Manor for a few more days.

Zoe politely declined, citing her heavy workload.

Hayden was nowhere to be found during breakfast, and he completely ignored Beatrice's phone calls.

Left with no other option, Beatrice sighed heavily. "Come back and visit an old woman when you have the time. At my age, every visit could be the last."

Zoe felt a lump form in her throat. She knew Beatrice was playing the sympathy card, but her marriage to Hayden was truly beyond repair.

"You're going to live a long, healthy life."

As they stepped out of the estate, Garrett was already waiting a few blocks away to pick them up.

The moment Lily saw him, she ran over excitedly and held up the jar.

"Garrett, this is for you!"

Zoe stared at the completely full jar in sheer astonishment.

Did Lily fold all of those herself?

Garrett was incredibly touched by the surprise. He took the jar firmly in one hand and affectionately ruffled Lily's hair with the other.

"Thank you. It's beautiful. I love it."

He scooped her up into his arms, and Lily wrapped her tiny arms around his neck, clearly adoring him.

"Did you fold this entire jar all by yourself?"

Garrett asked casually. Lily suddenly looked incredibly guilty, stammering over her words.

Zoe quickly pieced it together. Hayden had taken Lily away last night and never returned to the master bedroom. She had assumed he had gone off to see Sienna.

When Lily came to her room, the jar had been empty, but now it was full.

Hayden had folded the stars.
