I Forgot I Ever Loved You (Zoe and Hayden) novel Chapter 502

Staring at her phone screen, Nadia got so excited looking at the chubby baby boy in Zoe's arms that she took a high-definition screenshot.

"What a shame. Something this massive, and you didn't even tell me you were pregnant. Otherwise, there's no way this boy would be registered under Garrett's name. You should have put him under mine!"

Nadia adored Zoe's baby. She had often daydreamed about having a cute child of her own one day.

Ideally, with Asher.

But Asher hadn't shown any real commitment for years. Now that they were finally making progress, Nadia was the one dragging her feet.

She refused to be some other woman's stand-in and had ignored Asher for months.

Zoe simply smiled. She hadn't not considered it, but there was a high chance Nadia and Asher would actually end up together. Registering the baby under Nadia wouldn't make sense.

Zoe had dealt with Asher beforeβ€”he was terrifying. She didn't dare provoke him.

Not to mention, if Hayden's child was registered under Nadia's name, Asher would tear Zoe apart alive if he found out.

Zoe still remembered exactly how much Asher hated her hanging around Nadia.

Since Zoe had just given birth, she couldn't chat for long. Nadia asked when she was coming back and then hung up.

Looking at the photo of the newborn on her phone, Nadia loved him more by the second. Without hesitating, she posted it on her social media.

"Promoted to Auntie! My bestie's precious son."

After posting it, Nadia went straight to sleep, completely forgetting about the matter.

A few hours later, someone screenshotted Nadia's post and sent it directly to Hayden.

[Lawyer Fox suddenly announced some good news. Do you know what this means?]

Late at night, Hayden left Thorne Enterprises and returned to The Highland Retreat.

He had been waiting right where he was. Zoe was throwing a tantrum, and once she thought it through or realized her games weren't working, she would naturally come back.

Hayden leaned against the floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside, the newly planted lilies of the valley and vibrant local roses looked exceptionally beautiful swaying in the breeze.

Zoe would definitely love them when she returned.

The wind picked up slightly in the night, signaling rain.
