"Megan, I'm on vacation with some friends. Don't look for me unless it's an emergency. I'll bring you a gift when I get back."

Hearing Mrs. Winters' voice, Megan finally dismissed her doubts.

"I was just worried about you. No wonder I haven't seen Sienna lately; she must be on vacation with you."

After a few fake pleasantries, she hung up. Deep down, she was quite upset. They went on a trip and didn't even invite her. They clearly didn't treat her as part of the family.

Sienna walked out of the detention center, her phone still dead silent. She pulled up Hayden's name in her contacts, hesitated for a few seconds, and finally put her phone away.

No matter what, she could only wait.

Two hours later, Colin Zachs called.

Although Sienna didn't get a call from Hayden himself, at least he hadn't forgotten what he promised her the night before.

"Ms. Winters, Mr. Thorne asked you to explain the details and the process so he can see how he can help."

Sienna's heart sank at Colin's words. He still needed her to explain the details?

"My mother went to the Kendall estate. There might have been a misunderstanding, and they accused her of insulting their patriarch." Sienna didn't know the exact details, so she merely relayed what her mother had told her.

Colin listened and replied, "I'll pass this on to Mr. Thorne. I'll contact you when there's an update."

Sienna froze.

Why was Colin still her point of contact? What exactly was Hayden so busy with?

Sienna couldn't wait any longer. She took a cab to Thorne Enterprises.

The employees greeted her as she walked in. Sienna returned their greetings with a smile. Colin had just stepped out of Hayden's office and didn't expect to see her there.

"Is Mr. Thorne in?" she asked.

Since she was already there, Colin didn't bother lying. "He's in his office."
