"Did you talk to Hayden?" Mrs. Winters asked.

Sienna couldn't hide it from her mother. In the past, Hayden granted her every request. Even when Terrence Winters faced his massive scandal, Hayden had rushed to help.

Sienna lowered her eyes. "I told him."

Mrs. Winters grew anxious. "If you told him, why hasn't he done anything? What does he mean by this? Just a few days ago, he went to the mall to buy you jewelry for a proposal."

Mrs. Winters' thoughts perfectly aligned with Sienna's.

"Is he just too busy planning a surprise for you to focus on my situation? Sienna, it's unbearable in here. Hayden loves you so much. You can't just mention it over the phone; you need to find him and talk to him seriously.

He treats you like his most precious treasure. He put so much effort into your father's mess. I was only brought in because the Kendalls framed me—it's not a big deal. If Hayden steps in, I can get out."

Sienna sat motionless across from Mrs. Winters. In her agitation, Mrs. Winters stood up, only to be reprimanded by a staff member and frightened back into her seat.

"Did you hear what your mother said?"

"You didn't have a fight with Hayden, did you? Don't throw a tantrum at a crucial time like this. I know your business is doing well lately, but Hayden is still our biggest backer.

With Charles Thorne dead, having money in the capital's high society isn't enough. If you don't rely on Hayden, sitting on a pile of cash will only make you a target. Don't be foolish."
