She felt more certain than ever that Hayden had been too tied up with Thorne Enterprises lately to contact her.

Fully satisfied, Sienna took the private elevator and, under the respectful guidance of the corporate staff, arrived at the ground floor.

Near the entrance, she bumped right into Yara Quinn, who was dressed in sleek, tactical gear.

Without Hayden around, Sienna saw no reason to keep her temper in check.

Her ride arrived. Yara didn't utter a single syllable, and the driver didn't even spare Sienna a passing glance as he respectfully opened the door. "Miss Quinn, please."

Yara nodded, slipping into the back seat with an expressionless face before the car sped off.

Trembling violently and swallowing against the blinding pain, Sienna dialed Hayden's number.

It rang several times before connecting, though to Sienna, it felt like an eternity.

"What is it now?"

Hayden's voice was laced with ice, making Sienna stutter.

"Hayden, that psycho from your office just snapped my wrist! It hurts so much."

Hayden's expression didn't change, nor did he offer any comfort. He simply fired back a question.
