I Forgot I Ever Loved You (Zoe and Hayden) novel Chapter 566

Holden was just a child, lacking the resilience of an adult. The moment Hayden's expression darkened, the boy folded.

Sienna turned pale, frantically shooting Holden pointed looks to keep his mouth shut.

But Holden didn't dare lie to Hayden.

He knew Hayden favored him, but he had never seen the man look so severe. The five-year-old couldn't handle the intimidation and spilled everything through his trembling.

"I threw the first punch."

Nita immediately bristled.

"Even if Holden did it, the little bitch deserved it. She's just like her motherโ€”begging for a beating. What's wrong with Holden teaching her a lesson? If a Thorne wants to put someone in their place, they have it coming. If it weren't for Zoe's framing, would Sienna and Holden have been exposed online and embarrassed our family? Don't make things difficult for himโ€”"

"Mom, I'll have Colin take you home."

Hayden cut Nita off, shifting his gaze to Sienna.

"You and your mother should leave too. I need to have a word with Holden."

Terrified, Sienna refused to budge.

"Hayden, Holden is still sick. Let me stay with him. Ask whatever you want, but I'm his mother. I'll take full responsibility for his actions."

Colin stepped forward. Nita was furious but powerless against Hayden.

Not even Grandmother Beatrice could control this grandson, let alone Nita. She knew exactly how ruthless her eldest son could be.

She was very clear on what kind of man her son was.

Mrs. Winters had been terrified ever since Hayden forced Holden to call him 'Uncle Hayden'.

Once Hayden had his assistant escort Nita out, Mrs. Winters lost all nerve. Without even a word to Sienna, she scurried away in disgrace.

Sienna feared that in her absence, Hayden might extract something detrimental from Holden. Claiming full responsibility was her only chance to salvage Hayden's favor.

Hayden didn't force Sienna to leave, but he wasn't about to let Holden off the hook either.

"Why did you hit Lily? She's a girl, and she's your sister."
