Zoe didn't mind, and Hayden's expression remained completely unreadable.

Having regained their composure, the two looked like a standard boss and subordinate again.

Caught in the middle, Colin felt incredibly awkward.

The elevator arrived, leaving him torn.

Could he please stop being the third wheel?

"Colin—"

"Yes, Mr. Thorne?"

"Go get two sets of clothes in this size."

He casually dropped the name of a designer brand, making Zoe jolt.

Lingerie from that brand cost thousands of dollars a piece.

More importantly, having Colin go buy it for her was absolute social suicide.

But she was too mortified to say anything.

The elevator doors opened, and Hayden held the button, gesturing for her to step in first.

Zoe ducked her head and practically darted inside. Hayden smoothly stepped in front of her, blocking her from view.

Unable to see the confusion on Colin's face, Zoe finally let out a quiet sigh of relief.

Couldn't this man have asked her first?

He might not care, but she still had some dignity left.

Asking a female secretary to get it would have been miles better than sending Colin.

She shrank back into the corner of the elevator.

"The details are on your phone. Read it yourself."

The doors slid shut with a soft chime.

Zoe couldn't bear to imagine the sheer embarrassment of Colin walking into a high-end women's lingerie boutique.

But she quickly forced herself to stop thinking about it.

The moment they reached the executive floor, Zoe bolted like her life depended on it.

When she finally reached her office and grabbed the door handle, she realized she was being completely exploited.

Didn't Hayden say she was tired today and could rest?

It took Colin over half an hour to return.

He walked back holding the lingerie bags for Zoe, a look of absolute calm on his face.

He just hadn't dared to peek inside, or he absolutely would have taken a picture for the old lady.

That idiot and her little brat were only fit to be blood bags for her son.

Colin acted incredibly reluctant and cautious.

"Just one look? Ms. Winters, please don't mention this to Mr. Thorne."

Sienna smiled warmly.

She pretended to think it over for a second.

"How about you open it for me? Don't worry, I won't say a word to him."

Colin sneered internally. Shameless. She wanted to snoop but expected him to take the fall.

He knew exactly what kind of person Sienna was.

For years, she had treated him like nothing more than Hayden's dog.

In reality, even Hayden had never genuinely disrespected him.

"Alright."

Colin opened the exquisitely wrapped box right in front of her.

He didn't look at the contents, but Sienna's face visibly contorted into an ugly, furious mask.

She reached out, wanting to rifle through the items.

Colin swiftly pulled the box back.

"My apologies, Ms. Winters. Mr. Thorne is waiting for me to drop this off and give my report."

Colin hurried off, pretending to be in a rush.
