I Refuse To Be Your Luna (Flourish and Harold) novel Chapter 274

Chapter 274 The Man Behind The Guest

Rhys POV

I stayed at F-Tech after Flourish left the lobby because I no longer trusted the building.

The wards were active again, the security team had taken control of every entrance, and the infiltrator was being held in a secure room with two guards outside.

Flourish had wanted to question him immediately.

I stopped her.

“Give me thirty minutes.”

She had looked like she wanted to argue, then handed the decision to me and went upstairs with Cheryl.

That gave me the time I needed.

I pulled the elevator logs first. The attacker had entered the building through a service entrance three weeks earlier, and after that, his access records appeared normal. He had visited the administrative floor, the research wing, and the security level several times.

Nothing looked suspicious until I compared his badge activity with the camera footage.

He had been moving between F-Tech and Stonehedge.

For weeks.

I leaned closer to the screen.

“Who are you?”

The system gave me his name, but I didn’t trust it. I checked his employee records, visitor logs, parking entries, and vehicle registration. Every detail matched the identity he had been using.

Then I opened the older footage.

There he was outside Stonehedge.

Another clip showed him entering through a side gate with a delivery team. In another, he was speaking to one of the estate workers.

He hadn’t simply infiltrated F-Tech.

He had been moving around both places without anyone realizing what he was doing.

My wolf paced beneath my skin.

“Find the trail.”

“I am.”

I pulled up the restricted files he had accessed shortly before disappearing from the system days earlier.

Most were ordinary corporate records, but several belonged to the audit Flourish had ordered months ago.

The shell companies.

I opened one file.

Then another.

The names connected to the underground network appeared across several records, sometimes as shareholders, sometimes as consultants, sometimes as logistics companies. The same people had been moving money and information between territories while keeping their names away from council reports.

The infiltrator had accessed all of it.

I checked the timestamps.

He had not been searching randomly.

He had been looking for information about Flourish.

I called her.

She answered on the second ring.

“Rhys?”

“I found something.”

She was quiet.

“Go on.”

“The man from the elevator has been moving between F-Tech and Stonehedge for weeks. He wasn’t just watching the building.”

“Then what was he doing?”

“Feeding information into the underground network.”

There was a pause.

“Can you prove it?”

“I’m working on it.”

I opened the communication records.

Most of the messages had been erased, but the system had retained fragments.

I rebuilt the trail through the backup servers, following each connection until I reached an encrypted account.

The access key was familiar.

I had seen it in the Eastern Army records.

Voss.

I stared at the screen.

“Flourish.”

“What?”

“It leads back to Voss.”

Her voice hardened. “You’re sure?”

“I wouldn’t call you if I wasn’t.”

I opened the account history. The infiltrator had received instructions about Flourish’s

movements, her meetings, her trips between the estate and F-Tech, and even the days she had spent away from both locations.

He had been watching her.

Not just recently.

For weeks.

The final message in the account was dated two days before the attack.

Keep her moving toward Moonbridge.

I read it twice.

My hand tightened around the mouse.

“Rhys?” Flourish said.

“He was planted to monitor you.”

“By Voss.”

“Yes.”

I didn’t tell her about the rest immediately. I wanted to understand what Moonbridge meant before sending her there.

I searched the term across every F-Tech server.

Nothing.

Then I searched the old Stonehedge records.

Three results appeared.

All had been archived decades ago.

Moonbridge.

I opened the first record.

It was mostly damaged, but one line remained readable.

Secondary access to original tunnel system.

My wolf stopped pacing.

“Again,” it said.

I opened the second record.

The passage had been sealed after an old pack conflict, but the entrance itself had never been destroyed.

The third file contained a hand-drawn map.

I recognized the surrounding territory, but the route went far beyond the tunnels beneath Stonehedge.

Someone had built another entrance.

Older.

Deeper.

And almost completely outside the modern security system.

I called Elara.

She answered quickly.

“What did you find?”

“Moonbridge.”

The silence on the line changed immediately.

“You found that name?”

“Yes. It appears in old tunnel records.”

“Where?”

“F-Tech archives. Stonehedge records too.”

“Send me the files.”

1 transferred everything.

A few minutes passed before she called again.

“This isn’t just another access point.”

“What is it?”

“It was the original route into the tunnel system.”

I looked at the map.

“The Stonehedge entrance?”

“That one was built later. Moonbridge came first.”

“Why wasn’t it mentioned in the council records?”

“Because most people didn’t know it existed.”
