I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 110

"I'm not going to talk to you normally!" Tears stung Sienna's eyes, but she clenched her jaw so hard it ached to stop them from falling. "Why should I? Just let me out of this damn car!"

Finn's breathing grew ragged from frustration, his chest heaving aggressively.

"Did you cut yourself? Or was it an accident? Is it really that hard to just give me one straight answer?"

Sienna stared directly into his eyes and spoke with deliberate venom:

"Yes. Because I swore an oath, and I can't tell you. Happy now?"

Dead silence flooded the car.

Finn stared at her, catching the underlying bite of her words.

She was being sarcastic.

Using his own words against him, twisting the knife for revenge.

A wave of bitter sorrow flooded Finn's eyes:

"You're punishing me for not telling you the truth about York, aren't you?"

Sienna didn't answer, turning her face toward the dark window.

"I can't tell you because it's not just my secret to share," Finn's voice was hoarse. "It involves a lot of people. I told you, there are lines I cannot cross. The truth is..."

"Enough," Sienna snapped, cutting him off completely. "Did I ask? Did I demand an explanation? Why are you trying to justify yourself to me? Get over yourself!"

Finn choked on his words.

He stared at Sienna like she was an absolute stranger.

"Sienna, you used to be so sweet. And you're a doctor—everyone praises you for being so calm and rational. Why are you so aggressive and unreasonable with me?"

Sienna froze.

Aggressive? Unreasonable?

"Wow, so now you're lecturing me?" she laughed, the sound hollow and sharp. "Fine. I'll tell you the truth. For those three years we were together, it was all an act."

Finn's pupils constricted violently.

"It was an act, do you understand? I wanted you, so I put on a show. So what?" Her voice was trembling, but she refused to stop. "Since you dumped me, I don't care about you anymore. I've been over you for a long time. Do you get it now?"

"Stop," Finn begged, his voice laced with pure agony. "This isn't you."

"You see, that's exactly it—you don't know me at all," Sienna sneered, her lips curving into a cruel smile. "You're just in love with the fantasy version of me, aren't you? Well, keep dreaming.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..."

Sienna's eyes watered from the sharp pain.

Furious and humiliated, she shoved at him, slamming her fists hard against his chest.

They were pressed so tightly together that their breaths were completely intertwined.

She twisted her head away, and his lips grazed the side of her cheek, landing heavily against her ear.

"Finn Fletcher!" she shrieked, her voice thick with pure revulsion and panic.

Her hands clawed and scratched at him frantically.

Finn didn't pull away. He simply let her hit him.

He looked down at her, his eyes rimmed red and completely glazed over, the sheer magnitude of his heartbreak spilling out into the open.

"Sienna..." he rasped, his throat tight with agony.

Suddenly, someone slammed heavily on the car window from the outside.
