Her voice wasn't loud, but every word struck like a hammer.
"I will never forget what you did to me four years ago. So let me make this perfectly clear—nothing is ever going to happen between me and Isaac. But nothing is ever going to happen between us, either. You need to let this go."
She spun on her heel and headed for the door, pointing a furious finger back at him.
"If you take one more step toward me, I swear to God I will drop you. I don't care if you're injured."
Finn's shoulders slumped, looking as though his spine had just been snapped.
Yet, the wild light in his eyes only burned brighter.
He couldn't stomach the thought of losing her. Watching her slip through his fingers was a torture worse than death.
He knew the whiskey was fueling his madness, but he was completely incapable of stopping himself.
She told him not to touch her. That only made him want to consume her.
To hell with being a gentleman. To hell with his stoic composure and rational restraint.
Let it all burn.
With bloodshot eyes, he lunged forward, his massive hand clamping around her wrist like a steel trap.
Sienna violently yanked it away.
He grabbed her again. She ripped free again.
He took a reckless step forward to pull her into a full embrace, but she spun around, driving a brutal elbow straight into his chest.
He grunted in pain but refused to retreat. Closing the gap, he wrapped his powerful arms around her, caging her entirely against his body.
Even blackout drunk, he possessed a physical dominance she couldn't hope to match.
"Let go of me!" Sienna shrieked, blinded by rage. "Finn, get your hands off me right now!"
He didn't budge.
With her torso pinned, she used the only weapons she had left. She slammed her elbows ruthlessly into his ribs, over and over again.
Behind her, Finn took every punishing blow. A cold sweat broke out across his forehead, but his grip remained absolute.
Trapped in his hold, she began viciously kicking his shins.
Caught off guard by a brutal strike to the back of his knee, his legs buckled, dragging them both crashing down to the hardwood floor.
He absorbed the brunt of the impact, his spine slamming against the wood with a sickening thud. He groaned, yet his arms stayed locked around her waist.
Sienna was pinned on top of him, unharmed thanks to the human shield beneath her, but she still couldn't wriggle free.
