"Sienna, thank god you sent Isaac over. He stepped in and told them he was my boyfriend... it completely defused the situation," Lily whispered.
Sienna glanced over at Isaac, who was currently speaking with the officers to handle the paperwork.
Lavinia sauntered over. Her tone wasn't overtly aggressive, but every syllable dripped with condescension.
"Since you have a boyfriend, you need to stay the hell away from my husband. A young girl like you shouldn't be giving people the wrong idea."
Lily's expression instantly darkened.
"What the hell are you talking about? You think I'd look twice at your husband? He's practically bald!"
Lavinia scoffed coldly.
"Clearly, I didn't hit you hard enough."
With that, she turned to leave.
"Stop right there." Sienna stepped directly into her path, her voice ice-cold. "You think you can just walk away? You might be done filing your report, but we are far from finished."
Lavinia halted, glaring at her.
"What is that supposed to mean? Finished with what?"
Lily tugged gently at the hem of Sienna's shirt.
"Sienna, your family emergency is more important. Don't waste your energy on them for my sake. Besides, this bitch didn't get off easy either. I ripped out a chunk of her hair and bit her a few times. She's definitely going to have some internal bruising..."
Sienna gave Lily's hand a reassuring squeeze.
"My family matters are handled. Right now, my only priority is this. Nobody gets to lay a hand on you and walk away unscathed!"
She turned to the officer nearby, her voice steady, authoritative, and perfectly clear.
"Officer, I am requesting a formal medical evaluation for my friend. We need her injuries photographed and documented. Furthermore, we are filing charges against Ms. Sawyer for intentional assault, defamation, and malicious slander damaging my friend's reputation. We also formally request an investigation into the source of this rumor and how it was circulated."
The officer gave her a respectful nod and turned around to grab the necessary forms.
Lavinia stood frozen in place, her lips parting as she realized she wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Down the hallway, Isaac stood watching Sienna in silence.
While Lily stepped away to fill out the paperwork, Sienna approached Isaac.
She thanked him first, then hesitated.
"Have you been in touch with Finn?"
Isaac misunderstood her hesitation and quickly tried to explain himself.
"I swear, I only found out you went back home from Lily, and then I just..."
