I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 407

Maeve Thorne's voice echoed through the receiver.

"Where are you?"

Sienna gripped the phone tightly and glanced toward the living room.

Finn was standing by the window with his back to her, one hand shoved into his pocket. It looked like he was admiring the city lights, but she knew he was just giving her space.

She lowered her voice.

"Maeve, is there something you need?"

"Are you with Finn right now?" Maeve asked.

Sienna didn't answer right away.

She paused for a beat before replying.

"Maeve, you're the one calling me. Shouldn't you at least tell me what this is about instead of interrogating me?"

The line went dead silent for two seconds, as if Maeve hadn't expected the pushback.

Maeve let out a short, faint laugh.

"I haven't seen you in a few days, and your temper has certainly grown."

"Do you need something or not?"

Maeve's tone grew slightly more serious.

"What exactly is your situation right now? Are you with Silas Hayes, or are you with Finn?"

Sienna's grip on the phone tightened.

"Maeve, you are an elder, and I respect you. But your questions are crossing a line. My personal life is not something I need to report to you."

Maeve chuckled.

"Plenty of people have called me out of line. I don't care. The only person I care about in this world is Finn."

Sienna really hated the way Maeve spoke.

"Maeve, if there isn't anything urgent, you should get some rest. I'm hanging up."

"Wait. Do you want to help Finn?"

Sienna's expression remained perfectly neutral.

"You don't need to ask if I want to. Just tell me what you need me to do, and I'll decide if I'm going to do it."

"Fine. I have a solution for The Westside Project."

Sienna froze instantly.
