I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 506

“Are Lily and the others almost here?”

Finn nodded.

“Isaac left this morning. They should arrive by noon.”

He offered her another slice. Sienna leaned forward to take it, her lips briefly brushing against his fingers.

A butler approached them and gave a slight bow.

“Mr. Fletcher, your father has requested your presence.”

Finn paused, the orange peel still in his hand. He glanced up at the butler.

“Now?”

“Yes, sir. He asked that you come immediately.”

Finn set the remaining orange slices on a plate, picked up a wet towel to wipe his hands, and turned to Sienna.

Sienna, still chewing her slice of orange, asked with a muffled voice,

“What's going on?”

Finn smiled and reached out to gently pinch her cheek.

“Stay here and relax. I’ll be right back.”

Sienna settled back into the lounge chair, watching him disappear down the corridor. Suddenly, a strange flutter of anxiety settled in her chest.

She pressed two fingers against her chest, rationalizing the feeling away.

It was just exhaustion from the trip. It didn't mean anything.

She leaned back and closed her eyes.

But her mind refused to settle.

When Finn approached the study in the main house, the door was left slightly ajar.

He pushed it open. Only Grant Fletcher and Maeve Thorne were inside.

Grant sat behind the massive desk, a steaming cup of tea in front of him.

Maeve was seated on the sofa nearby, holding a glass of water.

Finn walked in, his gaze sweeping between the two of them.

“Dad, you wanted to see me?”
