Vivian didn't answer. Her gaze swept past Parrish and landed on Seraphina.
Seraphina felt a chill run down her spine under that stare, instinctively tightening her grip on the reins.
Vivian walked over, her voice freezing. "Get down."
Seraphina shrank back in fear. "Vivian... did I do something wrong?"
Vivian didn't buy into her pathetic damsel-in-distress act for a second. She grabbed Seraphina's arm and yanked her right off the horse.
"Ah!"
Seraphina screamed as she tumbled clumsily onto the grass.
Parrish's face darkened, and he yelled, "Vivian, what are you doing!"
Vivian didn't even look at him. She swiftly mounted the horse, grabbed the reins, and galloped straight toward the parking lot.
Sitting on the grass, Seraphina's tears instantly spilled over.
She had already felt sick and miserable from the rough ride, and being publicly dragged off a horse like that made her feel utterly humiliated.
Parrish dismounted and helped her up, glaring at Zachary with barely suppressed rage.
"Zachary, control your sister! What the hell is her problem!"
Zachary narrowed his eyes, almost giving in to the urge to punch Parrish again.
But then he smiled, leisurely pulling out his phone. He snapped a quick photo of Parrish helping Seraphina up.
"Guess what happens to the York family's deals in Arlington if I send this picture to my dad? Do you think those negotiations will keep going smoothly?"
Parrish's face turned completely ugly.
At the engagement party, he had just promised the Xavier family that he wouldn't fool around with other women anymore.
If this photo landed in front of the Xaviers, every promise he made would become a massive joke.
