Luna's Deadly Deception: How She Made Her Alpha Pay novel Chapter 118

I'm all ears. She shot back, sounding more attentive now.

By the time I was done briefing her on everything she needed to do, she slowly nodded her head.

I'll make sure I handle this seamlessly.

I trust you can do it, I replied before ending the link.

I turned my focus back to Mody who was ranting and complaining to Askhan about something I'd apparently done.

"Can you imagine that? I only asked her to come get her things from the quarters. The next thing, she barged into here and started smashing things. When I tried to correct her and get her to stop, she started throwing all sorts of slurs at me. You have no idea what I've put up with here."

"I can't believe this." Askhan sighed.

"I know right." Mody huffed.

Askhan chuckled drily. "Is that palace hers? Because I see no reason why she would do such a thing. I feel part of the blame is with me. I let other people move in when obviously, they didn't deserve the respect I accorded them."

"I bel—" Mody tried to speak but Askhan cut her off.

"I'll be there soon. Just wait for me."

Askhan ended the call after that. Mody set her phone aside and turned to Bella and Madison. She had a weird glint in her eyes as she regarded them.

"Now girls, it's time to give this place a little redecorating." She grinned.

They all seconded that and began making their way into the house. Not a second later, I heard the sound of glass smashing. Then another piece. And another.

It didn't take much for me to put two and two together. They were destroying the house and making sure to throw everything into debris.

"What about this piece?" Madison piped up.

"Oh." Mody's voice had taken a sinister turn. "That's part of the bitch's collection. Make sure to smash that one into smithereens.

"Got it." Madison smirked.

She raised her bat, about to break the painting into pieces. Mody's eyes widened in realization and she quickly held out a hand.

"Wait!" She yelled.

Madison froze. "What is it?"

"The pieces in her collection are really expensive and valuable." Mody let out a breath.

"She really did that?" Askhan asked, an amused look in his eyes.

He looked oddly calm for someone that heard such a news. Mody and Madison were eyeing him carefully, wondering why he didn't look pissed yet.

"Well yes. We just explained that."

Then the smile bloomed on his face. It wasn't anything to big but it was definitely there. I couldn't control my anger at seeing him smile.

He must think it meant I cared about him. That was the reason for that nauseating smile plastered on his face.

Madison's patience finally snapped. "What punishment are you going to give her now?"

He ignored her for a while, simply regarding the three women. "There's no such thing as a chosen princess."

Madison looked dumbfounded and so did the other two. He ignored the look on their faces and began making his way to where I laid.

He got down on his knees, leaning over me as he examined the whole place. His eyes immediately flicked to the servants.

"I want you to restore this place to its original state. All of Thea's possessions, her antiques, jewels and all of her concernment must be reinstated and returned to how it had originally been.
