Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 130

He was wearing a dark gray silk dress shirt, the sleeves casually rolled up to his forearms, revealing pale, powerful wrists. A single, faint mole rested elegantly right on his wristbone.

His features looked as though they had been sculpted from marble—deep-set, striking eyes, a proud, aristocratic nose, and a sharp, commanding jawline. The raw, imposing aura of untouchable wealth radiating off him was practically suffocating.

He looked like he had stepped straight out of a high-fashion magazine, yet here he was, standing in the middle of a dingy little roadside convenience store.

The poor girl just stared in absolute awe. It wasn't until Hudson stopped dead in front of the counter that she snapped out of her trance, stammering, "H-How can I help you, sir?"

Hudson's gaze swept over the cramped aisles before locking onto the brightly colored section of feminine care products.

Keeping a completely stoic expression, he walked over, picked up a random pink box, scrutinized it, and set it back down.

He picked up another box, examined the label, and put it back.

His movements were calm and unhurried, as if he were meticulously selecting a multimillion-dollar investment rather than pads, his focus intense and unwavering.

Behind the counter, the cashier's jaw had practically unhinged.

This absolute god of a man... was shopping for tampons?

Holy hell!

Did his girlfriend save the universe in a past life or something?!

Hudson spent a solid five or six minutes trying to decode the intricate differences between absorbencies and wing types, eventually giving up. He simply grabbed one box of every single brand and type on the shelf, dumped them all into a basket, and brought them to the register.

"Just these."

The cashier frantically began scanning the items, but her eyes kept darting back to the massive pile of feminine hygiene products.

Regular, overnight, ultra-thin, period underwear...

"That'll be two hundred and eighty-six dollars."

Hudson pulled out his wallet, sliding out a sleek, solid metal Black Card, and handed it over.

The cashier stared at the card, her hands visibly shaking.

An actual Centurion Card.

It was the first time she had ever seen a real one in her life.

"Um... sir, our machine... doesn't accept this kind of card."

Hudson frowned slightly. He pulled out another card from his wallet.

Another Black Card.

The cashier's eye twitched.
