"Then make a call and have someone run it down here."

Leon was completely boxed in. The polite facade shattered entirely.

He took a deep breath, his face twisting into a malicious snarl as he gestured to the two dozen thugs behind him. "Listen here, you arrogant pricks. I tried playing nice. But if you're here to shut me down, you're going to learn real quick how things work out here."

Hudson didn't say a word. He simply tilted his head toward Arthur and Soren.

The two men cracked their knuckles and stepped forward seamlessly.

Seeing that they weren't intimidated, Leon sneered. "Fine. You want to die out here? Be my guest!" He raised his arm and roared at his men, "Take them down! Show these rich boys whose territory they're standing on!"

Over thirty burly men surged forward, roaring like wild animals, fully intending to overwhelm the two bodyguards with sheer numbers.

It was a slaughter.

Arthur and Soren moved like predatory shadows. Wherever they stepped, bodies flew.

The thugs were massive and heavily armed, but against two apex combatants, they were nothing more than target practice. One by one, the miners were brutally dismantled, sent crashing into the dirt without ever landing a single blow.

Leon's face drained of all color.

He watched in absolute horror as his entire crew was decimated in a matter of seconds. Within a minute, he and his bald enforcer were the only ones left standing, their legs trembling uncontrollably.
