Marked By the Pureblood Alpha (Deanna and Luis) novel Chapter 265

**Chapter 265 She’s Mine Tonight**

**Zelena’s POV:**

In the opulent confines of one of Elysian Club’s lavish suites, I found myself seated beside Mason Davenport, the Alpha of Regalia. Clad in a sleek black V-neck slip dress that clung to my form, I felt a mix of anticipation and dread.

With a casual pat on my backside, Mason urged me, “Go on, pour a drink for the Alphas.”

I fought back a wave of nausea, forcing a smile that felt like a mask over my true feelings. Rising from my seat, I navigated around the polished table, offering drinks to each Alpha present, my heart racing with every step.

The hem of my dress was scandalously short, barely grazing the tops of my thighs, and beneath it, I wore nothing but a thong. Each time I bent to pour a drink, I had to squat down, a movement that felt both necessary and humiliating. No matter how I adjusted, the fabric of my dress seemed determined to ride up even higher, exposing more than I was comfortable with.

The weight of their gazes was palpable, all the Alphas’ eyes fixated on my exposed thighs, and I could feel the heat of their scrutiny. One of them, a burly man with a smug grin, downed his drink and licked his lips suggestively. “Mr. Davenport, where’d you find a girl like this? She’s got a killer figure.”

Mason, with a lazy stroke of his round belly, removed his expensive watch and let it slip down the front of my dress. The cold metal slid against my skin, settling uncomfortably against my stomach.

“If you’re interested in her, too bad. She’s mine tonight.”

His laughter echoed in the room, and soon the others joined in, their chuckles ringing in my ears like a cruel symphony.

I felt a flush of humiliation wash over me, my fists clenching tightly as I fought to suppress the tears threatening to spill. The icy touch of the watch against my skin was a constant reminder of my situation.

Just one night.

If I could endure this for just one night, I would have the money I so desperately needed!

Suddenly, the suite door swung open, and a sharp, invigorating scent of cedar filled the air.

I looked up, and my heart raced—it was Luis.

The news had reported his illness, but seeing him now, he looked anything but unwell.

Luis strolled in with an air of nonchalance, handing his suit jacket to a server before taking the main seat with an effortless grace.

Immediately, the atmosphere shifted. The Alphas, once brimming with bravado, suddenly tempered their swagger, their voices adopting a more respectful tone.

“Mr. Eaton.”

“Go on, pour Mr. Eaton a drink.”

Luis raised a hand, dismissing the offer with a calm, “No need.”

If I had known Luis would be here tonight, I would have never stepped foot in this place!

I lowered my head, stealing a glance at Luis in the armchair.

He looked anything but sick. His striking features were as captivating as ever, and the way his shirt was unbuttoned at the collar exuded an effortless charm that was hard to resist.

And just like that, a flicker of hope reignited within me, one I thought I had extinguished.

If Deanna was pregnant and the baby wasn’t Luis’s, a proud pureblood Alpha like him would certainly lose his composure if I told him.

Then, if I played my cards right and comforted him… perhaps I could end up with Luis instead of Mason tonight!

As I plotted my next move, the conversation shifted toward a development deal concerning Southmere.

Almost every Alpha was lavishing praise on Mr. Eaton, expressing eagerness for the Mooncrown Pack to take the lead in the venture.

Mason’s expression darkened with each compliment, his frustration palpable.

And then, I felt Mason’s grip tighten on my waist, a warning that sent shivers down my spine.
