Chapter 361 A New Enemy Emerges
Jennifer’s POV:
The moment Carey introduced him, I knew exactly who stood before me–the Luis every werewolf socialite back home had been raving about since I returned to the country.
Before this, I’d been completely dismissive. So what if he was a pure–blood Alpha?
Was that really enough to make these women act like they’d never seen a male before, blushing and going weak in the knees at the mere mention of his name?
But now…
I gazed at the handsome man before me, taking in his dark eyes and sculpted nose. His features were as sharp and chiseled as a statue.
Though he’d reined in his dominance, that aggressive, powerful aura unique to a pure- blooded Alpha still radiated from him with lethal magnetism.
As expected… he was the real deal.
Curiosity sparked instantly, sending a flutter through my chest.
“Grandpa!”
I called out in a sweet, coy voice, adjusting my posture to show the refined elegance expected of an heiress of the Bluestone Pack.
“Mr. Eaton, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Jennifer, but everyone calls me Jenni. You can,
too.”
Luis gave me a brief nod, his expression utterly impassive.
“Don’t mind her lack of manners. This granddaughter of mine has been spoiled rotten by everyone. Now, where were we?”
That was when the woman standing beside Luis spoke up. “We were fortunate that Bluestone Bank approved that loan back then. Otherwise, Mistbane Group’s Moonline Expansion Project wouldn’t have gotten off the ground so smoothly.”
Carey nodded approvingly. “It was fate, I tell you Deanna, I’ll definitely send a generous gift when you and Luis tie the knot.”
What? Marriage?

The man I’d just taken an interest in was already claimed?
My gaze swept over the woman, Deanna, with open contempt.
I recognized her now.
She was the same woman who’d been the center of attention carlier, stealing the spotlight that rightfully belonged to me, the princess of Bluestone Pack!
The thought only fueled my irritation.
An Alpha of Luis’s noble lineage should rightfully be paired with someone like me—a woman born to privilege.
How the hell did some lowborn nobody manage to sink her claws into him?
Deanna lifted her head and met my stare.
I glared daggers at her, trying to crush her with the sheer weight of my presence.
But Deanna simply looked at me with calm, crystal–clear eyes, completely unruffled, then turned away as if I didn’t exist.
She dared… to ignore me?
In all my years, no one had ever dismissed me like that! A ball of rage ignited in my chest, burning hot.
Back in the rear hall of the villa, my two loyal followers, Shelby Barron and Amya Gill, flanked me on either side.
I pulled out a cigarette, placed it between my lips, and lit it, taking a long drag before issuing my command in a cold voice. “Find out everything about that woman.“.
Shelby twirled a strand of hair around her red–lacquered finger.
“Weren’t you totally uninterested in Luis before? Why the sudden curiosity about his fiancée?”
I exhaled a ring of smoke impatiently. “Just do what I say. Why all the questions?”
Amya drawled lazily, “When Mooncrown Corporation announced the wedding, every werewolf socialite in the upper circles had already dug up everything about this Omega.
“She was raised by humans and only got claimed by Mistbane Pack 20 years later. The second

she came back, she stirred up drama and practically drove out Jillian and the others- including that kind girl.
“Word is she’ll throw herself at any man with status. She went after Mr. Olson from Olsendreich Pack first, but his heart belonged to someone else and dumped her. The woman couldn’t accept it, so she used her body to seduce Luis instead.
“And lucky for her, she got knocked up and secured herself a marriage proposal Luis couldn’t refuse.”
“Fuck!”
I crushed the cigarette butt into the ashtray, grinding my teeth. “That scheming bitch! God, I can’t stand these gold–digging homewreckers who sleep their way to the top!”
Amya nodded. “You’re not the only one. Nobody can stand her. A lowborn Omega like that landing Luis? It pisses everyone off.
“One socialite even leaked dirt about her to a tabloid. But before the story even went to print, the whole publication got shut down. Now nobody dares to publish anything about her.”
The more I heard, the angrier I got.
In all of Nordvale, someone actually dared to be more brazen than me?
“Screw this. I’m going to teach her a lesson.”
Shelby shrank back nervously. “But Luis is here. Is that really a good idea?”
I shot her an annoyed glance. “Coward.
“I refuse to believe that here, on my own turf–in Bluestone Pack territory–I can’t put that bitch in her place.”
