Deanna's POV:
At dusk, the car moved steadily along the main road, then turned onto a side street.
Watching the plane trees reflected in the window, I gradually sensed that something was off.
This road... Didn't it seem to be heading toward the D Hotel?
Just as doubt rose in my mind.
Suddenly, the once-ordinary buildings outside the window looked as if they'd been touched by magic, instantly bursting into brilliant color.
Across the towering skyscrapers, neon lights flashed striking words: "Marry me, Deanna Wiley!"
The words felt straight out of a TV drama, dreamlike and overwhelming.
Yet Violet didn't speed up or slow down at the sudden sight, continuing to drive smoothly.
I sat in the car, staring out the window in disbelief as the neon words kept flashing past.
Every time the name "Deanna Wiley" appeared.
My heart jolted violently.
Was that me?
But the only man with this kind of power seemed to be Luis.
For a moment, my voice even trembled. "Violet, I..."
Violet's lips curved into a wide, knowing smile. She glanced at me and said, "Deanna, we're here."
The car pulled up to the entrance of the D Hotel.
The hotel façade was covered in countless roses, irises, and climbing blooms of every kind, forming a sea of flowers.
Not only that, the neon lights across the entire building were impossible to miss.
From the highest floor, the words "Marry me!" cascaded downward like a waterfall of light, illuminating the city as night fell.
The area around the hotel was already packed with people. Gasps, camera shutters, and excited chatter surged like waves.
Well-trained werewolf guards calmly maintained order, holding the crowd back and clearing a path. The emblems on their chests clearly marked the Mooncrown pack.
Violet opened the car door, her eyes shining with excitement, and nudged me out. "Go on. Your Alpha is waiting for you."
I stepped out of the car, my feet feeling as if they were treading on clouds.
Then, I saw him.
It was my first proposal, and I had no experience at all—what was I supposed to do?
I was wearing a loose dark-blue dress today, with light makeup.
But Luis had already reached me. His tall figure enveloped me, blocking out most of the noise and stares. He looked down at me, and in those usually unfathomable eyes was nothing but tender, lingering love.
Luis's POV:
I've always preferred to keep a low profile.
Every year, Mooncrown Corporation receives countless interview requests, and I almost never accept them.
As for proposing, I'd imagined something far more private and spontaneous.
Maybe in a quiet moment meant only for the two of us, when the mood was just right, and the words slipped out naturally; or perhaps in an intimate, breathless moment, looking into her dazed, affectionate eyes, driven by an Alpha's unquestionable possessiveness, demanding softly that she become my rightful mate, bound to me in name and blood.
That would suit my nature better, and fit the bond we already share.
None of those imaginings had anything to do with today.
But I wanted Deanna to experience this kind of grand and conventional proposal too.
Simply because I don't want her to have a single regret in her life.
