Deanna's POV:
The villa didn't feel like a store. It was more like a quiet design studio with a tiny display area.
The room felt airy, with gentle lighting. Pictures lined the walls, and side shelves were filled with rich fabric samples and fine accessories. The air held a soft, pleasant blend of fabric and dried flower scents.
I slowed down near the photos and leaned in to look closer. My eyes widened right away.
It was an award-winning collection by the wedding dress queen, Allison Reid.
Allison had taken the werewolf world by storm as a design prodigy 20 years ago. A single gown from her could sell for hundreds of millions!
But she suddenly stepped away a few years ago. Ever since, she'd refused even insane offers.
How did Luis track her down?
Luis seemed to catch my puzzled look and explained, "This is Allison's place. Five years ago, she wouldn't alter a design and ended up offending the daughter of the Moonshadow Pack's Alpha. They chased her everywhere. She escaped into Mooncrown Pack land, and I took her in.
"After that, she stopped designing for powerful werewolves. But when she heard we were holding a mating ceremony, she offered to make your dress. I think she wanted to repay the favor."
That finally made sense.
I looked at Allison. She smiled and said, "Mr. Eaton shared many ideas and references while we worked on the design. Please, come this way."
She guided me into the inner room. Several mannequins stood there in formal outfits, but the one on the main rack stole all my attention.
The moment I saw it, I stopped cold.
It wasn't flashy or heavy like traditional gowns. It was a long ivory dress with a soft pearly glow and a beautiful fall.
