Chapter 321

Reven’s POV

Does this dress fit me?I asked softly, turning slightly as the maid pulled the zipper up my back.

She smiled warmly, her eyes lighting up as she stepped back to look at me properly. It fits Luna. She stopped herself quickly, flushing. Miss Reven.”

you perfectly,

I smiled faintly and lowered myself onto the edge of the bed. The fabric hugged me just right not too tight, not too loose. It was a deep midnight blue, the color of the sky just before the moon reached its peak.

I hadn’t chosen it for any symbolic reason. It was simply the one that feltright.

The maid moved behind me and began working on my hair, carefully brushing it out before styling it into a soft halfup design that allowed the rest to cascade freely down my back. Her movements were gentle, almost reverent, as if she were afraid to break the fragile calm around me.

When she was done, she stepped aside and handed me a small mirror.

For a moment, I barely recognized the woman staring back at me.

I lookedstunning.

Not because of the dress or the carefully arranged hair, but because for the first time in a long while, I didn’t look broken. Nervous, yes. Afraid, definitely. But there was strength in my eyes too, quiet, unyielding strength that hadn’t been there before.

I took one last glance at myself before standing.

Thank you,I told the maid sincerely.

She bowed slightly and quietly left the room, closing the door behind her.

I didn’t need to take the kids with me. Their nanny had already taken them to the venue earlier, promising to keep a close watch on them throughout the ceremony. Knowing they were safe helped ease some of the tightness coiled around my chest.

I stepped out into the hallway.

The pack house was unusually quiet, the long corridors dimly lit by lanterns placed carefully along the walls. Shadows danced softly as I walked, my footsteps echoing against the stone floors. With every step closer to the ceremonial grounds, my heart pounded louder, heavier.

This is it, I thought. No turning back now.

When I finally reached the venue, the noise hit me all at once.

The entire pack was already gathered. Wolves stood shoulder to shoulder, their scents mingling thickly in the air. Even invited packs had arrived, their Alphas and Lunas standing proudly with their people. The clearing

was brightly lit, decorated with glowing lanterns, silver banners, and ancient symbols carved into stone pillars honoring the Moon Goddess.

Above us, the full moon hung high in the sky, large, radiant, and powerful, bathing everything below in a silvery glow.

The place was crowded, alive with anticipation.

I scanned the area briefly and spotted the nanny with the kids near the front, keeping them close. Relief washed over me like a quiet wave.

Then I saw him.

Alpha Ethan.

He stood near the ceremonial platform, dressed in dark ceremonial attire, his posture straight, his presence commanding as always. Power rolled off him effortlessly. Beside him stood Vera.

She looked exactly as she wanted to: radiant, confident, and victorious. Her dress shimmered under the moonlight, her chin lifted proudly, as if the night already belonged to her.

I swallowed and moved quietly, taking an available seat not far from them, keeping my head low.

The drums began.

Low, rhythmic beats echoed through the clearing, deep and steady, signaling the start of the ceremony. Slowly, the noise of the crowd faded until the pack fell silent, every wolf turning their attention toward the

center.

An elder stepped forward, raising his hands toward the moon.

On this sacred night,” he began, his voice carrying far and wide, we gather under the watchful eye of the Moon Goddess. We honor her blessings, her power, and the bond that ties wolf to wolf, pack to pack.”

A murmur of agreement rippled through the crowd.

Prayers followed ancient words spoken in the old tongue. Requests for protection, prosperity, unity.

The air seemed to hum with unseen energy, the moonlight growing brighter, heavier, as if pressing down on us all.

Then came the Alpha’s oath.

Ethan stepped forward.

Every movement he made was confident and controlled. He knelt briefly, pressing a fist to his chest before rising again, his gaze unwavering.

I stand before the Moon Goddess and my pack,he said, his voice strong and steady, to renew my oath. I swear to protect this pack with my life, to lead with strength and fairness, and to honor the laws that bind us.

A powerful howl erupted from the pack in response, vibrating through the clearing.

My skin tingled as the moon’s power surged through the air..

Then the shifting began.

One by one, wolves stepped forward, surrendering to the moon’s pull. Bones cracked, muscles shifted, fur erupted where skin once was. The sounds were loud, raw, and primalbut familiar. Beautiful in their own

way.

Soon, the clearing was filled with wolves of all sizes and colors, their eyes glowing as they lifted their heads and howled toward the moon. The sound was deafening, echoing through the forest, vibrating deep within my bones.

I stayed in my human form, watching, my heart racing.

After the final howl faded, the wolves shifted back, the ceremony moving toward its final and most anticipated moment.

The claiming.

A hush fell over the crowd.

Ethan moved again, this time toward the stage. Guards wheeled him onto the platform, positioning him where everyone could see him clearly.

He raised a hand, signaling for silence.

Thank you all,he began, his gaze sweeping over the gathered packs. Thank you for your loyalty, your strength, and your faith in my leadership.

His eyes flicked briefly to the children, then to the elders, then just for a heartbeat toward me.
