Mission: Revenge – The Heiress's Second Life novel Chapter 49

No one had expected Clara, this seemingly frail and delicate girl, to literally terrify Hunter right out of the room.

That high kick and that aggressive slam against the board—Clara looked incredibly badass!

[Ding! Host has earned the genuine admiration of over twenty people. Reward: Leadership +5.]

Clara realized this Leadership perk was actually quite useful.

For example, when she gave Hunter that command just now, he didn't even have the willpower to fight back.

Once Jules moved back home, she would have to test this ridiculously overpowered skill on him.

"Hunter is completely useless!" Lillian scoffed in disgust. "It's a good thing you never accepted his confessions. Dating a guy like that would be so embarrassing!"

Serena pressed her lips together, her fingernails digging into her palms.

Her half-sister was turning out to be much harder to deal with than she had anticipated!

Just as Clara flattened out another test paper, their homeroom teacher, Mr. Yates, walked in. "Clara, step outside for a moment."

Clara put down her pen and obediently followed him out.

Lillian smirked maliciously. "She's only been at this school for a few days, and she's already causing huge scenes left and right. Getting called to the office for a little chat with Mr. Yates, and then they'll call her parents. She's in for it now!"

A few girls nearby echoed her sentiments.

"It's one thing to have terrible grades, but she's always starting trouble. They should just expel her!"

"I heard she's dating Chase Yardley from the class next door. How can a slacker like her be allowed to distract our top student? They seriously need to expel her!"

Serena's eyes darkened.

That bitch had actually managed to hook up with Chase.
