The crystal chandelier cast a bright, unforgiving glow.

The man's face was terrifyingly pale.

After Clara yanked him out of the closet, he immediately scrambled onto her bed, wrapping himself entirely in her quilt until only his flawless face peeked out.

Clara's head was throbbing.

She rolled up the ruined rug and tossed it in the corner, then picked up all the scattered candies and dumped them into the trash can. Only after the mess was handled did she finally shoot an icy glare at the man hogging her bed.

Crossing her arms, she spat out two words: "Get down."

Teddy shook his head frantically. "No, I'm scared..."

"The bugs are gone. Get down right now," Clara said, her expression darkening. "Do you have any idea how many germs you're tracking onto my sheets right now? You haven't even showered!"

Hearing this, Teddy instantly bounded off the bed. "I'm sorry, Clara! I'll go shower right now!"

Clara: "..."

Was that an invitation to use her shower?!

She just wanted to box him up and ship him back to wherever he came from!

She took a deep breath. "Teddy, can you tell me where you live?"

"I don't remember..." Teddy scratched the back of his head. "Clara, I like you a lot. Can we just live together from now on?"

He walked over, grabbed her arm, and started swinging it back and forth.

A grown man in his twenties acting like a pouting toddler... It sent a layer of goosebumps straight up her arm.

She quickly yanked her arm free. "I'm not your big sister. Stop calling me that."

She already had four younger brothers; she absolutely did not need a fifth.

Besides, this guy was clearly older than her. She wasn't about to let him age her by calling her his older sister.

"But you told me to call you that!" Teddy blinked his large, innocent eyes. "Clara, you didn't forget, did you?"

Clara frowned, trying to remember.

The first time she met this guy, he was the one who had immediately started calling her that.

Whatever. Why was she arguing with a guy who was clearly out of his mind?

She asked seriously, "Teddy, why are you in my house?"
