After Morgana fell asleep, Laila gave Gracie a few more instructions before leaving.

She had planned to ask about Freya, but it seemed better to wait until Morgana recovered.

As she walked toward the small lounge, she heard Stick’s shocked voice from inside.

“Oh, by the Moon, Your Highness, are you saying you want me to stay at Frostwind Pack and work for you?”

Why was he still here? And why was he planning to stay and work?

Laila paused briefly. Logically, he should have gone back to Moonlight Academy with his teacher and the others.
