"Don't worry, Baby. Nothing's going to happen to me," Silas assured her.

"You don't understand how Zachary operates. He's reckless, arrogant, and completely unhinged. He'll do anything," she pressed.

Silas let out a low chuckle. "Alright, Baby. I promise I'll protect myself."

After exchanging a few more words, Yvaine hung up.

She had warned him, and Silas didn't seem like the type to act carelessly.

The moment Zachary left the Sterling building, he made a call, ordering his men to find out if Yvaine had actually married Silas.
