My Drama King Husband (Yvaine and Silas) novel Chapter 49

Since Sarah was her secretary, having her go perfectly represented the company's well wishes.

Call finished, Yvaine walked back inside.

Tabitha and her aunt were still in the living room chatting with Hester.

Silas had already gone upstairs.

After a quick polite nod, Yvaine headed to their room as well.

When she walked in, she found Silas standing in front of the mirror, adjusting his collar and checking his reflection from multiple angles.

Yvaine paused.

She hadn't realized he was so vain.

"Alright, Baby, let's go. I'm ready," Silas declared.

She blinked. "...Go where?"

"Didn't we say we were going to the hospital to stay the night and look after Mr. Lowell?" he replied innocently.

Yvaine was utterly speechless. She stared at him.

Was he serious?

She thought he was just messing with Tabitha downstairs.

"He has plenty of people looking after him at the hospital," she pointed out.

Knowing Zachary's explosive temper, if she actually brought Silas to his bedside, there would absolutely be a violent incident.

"Other people caring for him is their business. Us caring for him is our business. It's totally different," Silas argued logically.

Yvaine: "...!"

Zachary loved looking for a fight.

Silas clearly wasn't afraid of one.

These two...

She stayed quiet, not sure how to shut this down.

Silas sighed as if talking to himself. "This Mr. Lowell really has a fragile constitution, doesn't he? So young, yet already hospitalized for a bleeding stomach."

"Baby, I have to say, you Brenok CEOs really can't compete with us Docksy CEOs when it comes to physical stamina."

"...Excuse me?" Yvaine gave him a confused look.

Where did that come from?

"Am I wrong? Nine out of ten CEOs in Brenok have stomach issues, and eight out of ten suffer from chronic migraines. Our Docksy CEOs don't have those problems at all," Silas proclaimed proudly.
