Yvaine stared at him in disbelief.

"For nearly a century, the Sheridan family has dedicated itself to philanthropy, carefully building a reputation for being generous, gracious, and magnanimous. I cannot let that legacy be destroyed because of me," Silas stated with total conviction.

Yvaine threw her hands up. "Fine. We'll go. Right now. Let's go."

How could she argue with that?
