Linda accepted the requests.

"Let's keep in touch," Linda said with a pleasant smile.

Mona and Sarah nodded. "Yes, let's."

Yvaine couldn't believe her eyes.

Right under her nose, the three of them were happily networking, the atmosphere between them positively serene.

It formed a jarring contrast with Zachary and Silas, who were still fighting for their lives nearby.

Yvaine *had* wanted to break them up earlier.

But now, she didn't care. She stood perfectly still, watching the two men with frosty indifference.

Both of them were visibly bruised and battered.

Beneath their clothes, the injuries were undoubtedly worse.

She frowned. They were nearly thirty-year-old men.

And yet they were brawling in public.

Did they think they were edgy teenagers?

"Don't stop them!" Yvaine snapped at the men attempting to intervene, her face icy. "Let them fight."

The peacemakers froze in their tracks.

Glancing at the two men, who were only swinging wilder by the second, the group exchanged nervous looks and quietly backed away.

Both heirs hit like absolute trucks; being caught in the crossfire was no joke.

Yvaine watched the brawl unfold and calmly instructed, "Hurry up, hit harder. Whoever wins goes to the police station. Whoever loses goes to the hospital."

Mid-swing, both men froze.

As if on cue, they simultaneously dropped their fists.

Zachary glared at Yvaine, his eyes bloodshot with rage. "Yvaine, you are utterly heartless!"

The two of them were literally tearing each other apart over her, and not only did she refuse to break it up, she told them to hit *harder*?!

Was she hoping one of them would just die to make her life easier?
