My Drama King Husband (Yvaine and Silas) novel Chapter 7

The Sterling and Lowell families lived in the same ultra-exclusive neighborhood. The estate was two or three decades old, but because of its prime location, it remained one of the most wildly expensive luxury communities in all of Brenok. Every resident here was either impossibly rich or highly influential.

Even as both families amassed vastly more wealth over the years and purchased newer, grander properties, they had never moved out. The location was simply too convenient for commuting.

Watching Zachary's car glide past hers, Yvaine seriously began considering moving out. Living in the exact same neighborhood meant they would inevitably run into each other, and it was bound to get uncomfortable.

She arrived at the office and threw herself into work. At exactly 10 AM, her phone rang. It was Silas.

He was inviting Yvaine and her parents out for lunch.

Yvaine accepted.

After hanging up, she informed her parents. At noon, the three of them drove to the restaurant Silas had booked.

As they arrived, they spotted Silas standing by the entrance, looking flawless in a tailored black suit, quietly waiting for them. His assistant stood respectfully behind him.

The three parked, got out, and approached the door.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling. Yvaine," Silas greeted them one by one.

Yvaine paused. He called her Yvaine. Without her surname.

Usually, only her closest friends and family addressed her so casually. She didn't think they were quite at that level yet.

But then again, they were literally getting married tomorrow.

"...Silas," Yvaine replied.

She had fully intended to call him Mr. Sheridan, but since he was already using her first name, staying formal felt too stiff.

A faint hint of amusement touched the corner of Silas's eyes as he gave a small nod.

The four of them entered the private room. They began eating, naturally transitioning into discussions about the bride price and dowry.

To the Sterling family's utter shock, Silas's proposed bride price was astronomically lavish. Aside from shares in the Sheridan Group, he offered absolutely everything.

Fleets of luxury cars, sprawling estates, vaults of jewelry, and massive sums of cash.

But what stunned them the most was the inclusion of Halo.

Halo was the name of an iconic high-rise in Docksy's most lucrative commercial district. It was a billion-dollar luxury shopping mall, famous not only in Docksy but internationally.

Compared to Halo, the rest of the extravagant gifts felt like pocket change.
