My Drama King Husband (Yvaine and Silas) novel Chapter 73

Now, she felt nothing but annoyance and grievance.

Her temper flared too. She shoved the antiseptic and cotton swabs right into Mona's hands.

"You do it."

"...Excuse me?"

Mona was forced to hold the medical supplies.

She was completely dumbfounded.

Why her?

She wasn't a medical professional.

Weren't there other nurses in this clinic?

She looked pleadingly toward another nurse standing nearby.

The other nurse immediately turned her head, pretending to examine the wall.

That guy's temper was unhinged. Her coworker had just been yelled at; if she stepped in, she'd get yelled at too.

Sure, he was incredibly hot, but she wasn't about to volunteer for verbal abuse.

Mona stood frozen.

"What are you just standing there for?" Zachary snapped, glaring at her impatiently. "Are you going to clean this or not?"

"...Mr. Lowell, I don't know how to do this."

She actually did.

It was incredibly simple—anyone could do it.

But Zachary was in such a foul mood that no matter who touched his face, he was going to find an excuse to scream at them.

If the trained nurses weren't willing to volunteer as his punching bag, why on earth would she?

Didn't she get yelled at enough at the office?

Mona shot a desperate look at Yvaine.

Right now, the only person who could treat his wounds without getting screamed at was Ms. Sterling.

But Yvaine was completely focused on Silas, not looking her way, entirely missing the SOS signal.

"Are you an idiot?" Zachary barked, taking his frustration out on Mona. "How can you not know how to do something so simple? Everyone else knows how to do it. Why don't you?"

Mona remained silent.

Zachary continued, "You can't do this, you can't do that. Am I paying you tens of thousands a month just to be useless?"
