His eyes widened as he glared furiously at Yvaine, grinding his teeth. "Yvaine, what did you just say? Are you seriously cursing at me?"

"Who do you think you are? Do you honestly believe Yvaine likes you? Hah... you're nothing but a prop. It's hilarious that you actually think you're going to replace me."

Zachary sneered, his eyes filled with contempt.

Silas fell silent.

He ignored Zachary and turned to Yvaine.

"Am I just a tool to you?" he asked her directly.

Yvaine massaged her temples, glaring at Zachary.
