Chapter 181
Coloe’s POV
Luna Silvia showed up at the door in the morning with a platter of food.
“Where is my lovely goddaughter?” she said cheerily as she entered the cabin.
As I saw her, my eyes started to water.
Over the decades, Luna Silvia of Moonflame had maintained a spotless reputation with no scandals or messy battles.
Now, because of me, her reputation was probably being dragged through the mud by people who were not even half her age.
Without me having to explain, she understood what I was feeling. “Come here,” she whispered, opening her arms for a hug.
I stepped into her embrace, apologizing over and over again.
Luna Silvia laughed softly, opening her arms wider as she beckoned on Axel. “You too. Come on.”
Axel’s nose scrunched but he hugged her anyway.
“This is from your Mum. She cannot come to see you now because she is keeping your Dad at bay. With the evidence that those traitors have presented in front of him, he is very upset now.”
Evidence. Definitely fabricated.
“How about Hannah?” I asked.
Luna Silvia’s gaze sharpened.
“She is strong enough to roam the pack grounds playing the miserable Mum and shedding a few tears. If I did not know her well enough, I would think she was mourning.”
“And my brother?”
“Your brother,” Luna Silvia said as she settled into one of the couches. “He is present yet not at the same time. He simply stands to the side and lets his mate and his Dad-in-law do the talking.”
Luna Silvia shook her head. “Chloe, with the Regali family in their corner, this will be a hard battle to fight.”
I nodded. “I know that… I just need a few more days.”
Luna Silvia hummed, trusting me without even hearing what my plan was.
“Alright. I can stall for a few more days. After all, you are endorsed by the crown prince and the assassin king. That is the only reason you are not being treated like a criminal yet.”
The keyword was yet.
If time passed and neither men came to my rescue, they would get bolder and think they could just walk all over me since the royal family did not really care.
Liam had been crying in my messages just to be given a chance to rip into them. I told him to wait.
Really, all of the evidence was ready and I could deflate this entire show right now.

But was it really worth it to do so now? The drama had not yet reached its peak. Everyone was still struggling now.
Nyanted Hannah and Donatello to truly think they had won. Only when they got to that point would I detonate everything and reduce them to nothing overnight.
The information I had on Regali was enough to ruin centuries of legacy and make them unable to lift their heads for a few more decades.
It was their mistake for deciding to come after me despite intentionally staying out of their way.
Hannah and David too.
My investigation into them-more accurately, Liam’s investigation into their finances-revealed that they had some more money stored up in an account on the side.
The sum was not as much as they had invested in the Regali family’s project but it was enough that they would be able to save their dignity when the deal blew up in their faces.
I wanted everything gone, drained completely that they would realize that this was the consequence for crossing
“Luna, can I ask for your help with a few things?” I started.
Her features lit up with interest. “And what would they be?”
“Firstly, I want you to mention that I was thinking of moving my money to an offshore account with the bank owned by the Kovalsky Alpha family of Russia. Make sure Hannah hears it.”
Luna Silvia’s smile widened. “How did you know that?”
Kovalsky and Regali have a long-standing internal rivalry that did not come out to the open until Regali was done
for.
Then, they were the ones that piled on Regali and ripped apart what the bad press did not.
Seeing that her investment with Regali had ‘worked’ after she heard it from me, Hannah would probably move her money to the Kovalsky family without realizing the bad blood.
When Regali fell, Donatello would turn on her for investing money with his rivals, thinking she double-crossed
him.
I would not need to lift another finger and they would rip each other apart.
“Secondly, draft a contract. The pill is ready to go into the next stage of development and Killian and Asher are ready to license. We will be working with Moonflame for the next decade.”
At that, Darius sucked in a sharp breath behind me, coming closer to join the conversation.
“You’re serious,” he said, searching my face.
I nodded.
