It rang twice before he answered.
Sebastian's voice was flat. "Hello."
"Sebastian, I've managed to get my hands on some data."
Her eyes practically gleamed with calculation. "It's about that patent. It's not the complete file, but it should be exactly what you need."
The line went dead silent.
"Where did you get it?"
Sienna's tone turned slightly coy and whining. "You don't need to worry about that."
"Just tell me if you want it or not."
After a few seconds of silence, Sebastian spoke. "Send it over."
Smirking, Sienna ended the call and forwarded the compressed folder Lucas had given her straight to Sebastian.
Then, she began plotting her next move.
Once he saw the files, he would definitely view her in a new light.
And then, she would finally have the leverage she needed to negotiate.
The Sullivan Residence.
Receiving the file, Sebastian opened it and scanned the first few pages. His tense brow slowly relaxed.
Though incomplete, a significant portion of this data was exactly what they needed to alleviate the crushing pressure on their project.
Closing the document, suspicion crept into his mind.
Where the hell did she get this?
After a moment of thought, he texted her.
"Where did you source this data?"
Her reply was immediate. "Don't worry about it. Just tell me if it's useful."
He stared at the screen for several seconds before typing a single word: "Yes."
"As long as it helps. Like I told you before, I'm here to support you."
