My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 214

Samuel sat heavily on the sofa, letting the silence stretch out before answering.

Sienna watched him intently, not daring to utter a word.

Finally, Samuel spoke. "She gave me two conditions."

"What conditions?" Zelda demanded.

"First, the Sullivans must apologize publicly."

Zelda's brow twitched in displeasure, but she kept her mouth shut.

Samuel glanced at Sienna, hesitating for a fraction of a second. "Second... Sienna has to apologize to her in person and confess to stealing the files for Sebastian."

The living room plunged into a suffocating silence.

Then, Zelda shot up from her seat, her voice shrill and piercing. "What?! Apologize to Seraphina?! Why the hell should she?!"

Samuel winced. "Keep your voice down."

But Zelda was beyond listening. "Who does Seraphina think she is?! Demanding an apology from my daughter? Is she even worthy of one?!"

"Sienna is her family! Even if she made a mistake, it's family business. Why should she have to grovel to her face? She's just doing this to humiliate Sienna! To humiliate this entire family!"

Sienna kept her head lowered in silence, but her hands were trembling slightly in her lap.

It wasn't from sorrow. It was from pure, unadulterated rage.

Seraphina.

You actually think I'm going to apologize to you?

Keep dreaming.

Zelda's rant grew more frantic. "Samuel, tell me you didn't agree to this!"

"I haven't agreed to anything yet," Samuel snapped, clearly losing his patience.

Zelda let out a long breath and sank back onto the couch.

"Good. You absolutely cannot agree to this. If you make her apologize today, God knows what sick demand she'll make tomorrow."

"Think about it, Samuel. Sienna is the only daughter who actually stays by your side."

Samuel remained quiet.

At that moment, Sienna finally lifted her head, her voice meek and trembling. "Dad... Mom... Please stop fighting."
