Seeing Seraphina stepping out, he stopped in his tracks, his eyes lighting up instantly.
"Seraphina."
Thank god. He finally got to see her.
Seraphina furrowed her brow.
What was he doing here?
Speak of the devil.
Before she could say a word, Sienna chased after her from the living room, her voice dripping with honey. "Sebastian, you made it! Come inside. I told the kitchen to prep—"
She cut herself off, noticing that Sebastian's eyes were glued to Seraphina.
It was as if Sienna were entirely invisible.
His gaze locked onto the glaring handprint on Seraphina's cheek, and his expression turned thunderous.
"Who hit you? What the hell happened?" he demanded, his tone turning severe.
Seraphina turned her head away, avoiding his stare. "It's none of your business."
"Seraphina!" Sebastian's tone grew desperate. "We need to talk."
That was his whole reason for coming today.
Ever since she publicly called off their wedding, she had completely ghosted him.
He had so much he needed to say.
"Get out of my way. We have nothing to discuss," Seraphina said coldly.
She was no longer his fiancée.
What was the point of pretending to care now?
Besides, she knew exactly what he was after.
Sebastian had been eyeing her shares this entire time.
Watching this play out, Sienna's fingers curled tightly into the fabric of her dress.
Damn Seraphina to hell!
From the moment Sebastian walked through the door, he hadn't given Sienna a single glance.
