My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 566

Lucian gently took her uninjured hand. "Seraphina."

Seraphina offered him a faint smile, then turned her gaze back to Samuel. "Samuel, you're finally begging me. And your day of reckoning has finally arrived."

Samuel froze, the pleas dying on his tongue.

Seraphina looked up at the ceiling, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Mom, do you see this? His karma finally caught up to him."

Zelda collapsed by the edge of the bed, weeping hysterically. "Samuel, listen to me! I've been nothing but devoted to you all these years!"

Samuel stared at her with pure disgust. "Get out."

Sienna stood paralyzed in the middle of the room, her entire body shaking. "Then what about me? Whose daughter am I?"

She broke down, her shrill wails piercing the sterile room.

Samuel backhanded the remaining photos off the bed. The violent movement yanked at his IV line, causing blood to seep from the puncture wound, but he didn't even notice the pain.

The nurse hurriedly pinned his hand down, but his furious gaze was locked entirely on Zelda.

"Zelda Gates, you shoved another man's bastard into the Simmons family and lived a life of luxury for over twenty years! And now she has the nerve to ask me what she should do?!"

Zelda slumped against the bedframe, clutching the blanket as if her life depended on it. "Samuel, I swear I didn't know! I made a mistake back then, but after I married you, my heart belonged only to you!"

Samuel raised his hand and slapped her violently across the face.

"You cheap whore! You're still lying to me!"

"There are recent photos in that pile! You claim your heart only belongs to me while you're busy spreading your legs for other men?!"

The slap threw Zelda's head to the side, a bright red handprint rapidly swelling on her cheek.

She clutched her face, begging him through her sobs.

"Samuel, you can't do this to me! I've been by your side for decades! Sienna has called you Dad her entire life!"

Samuel let out a dark, breathless laugh, his chest heaving violently. "So I should be thanking you two parasites?"

Sienna threw herself at the bed, gripping the rails in hysterics. "Dad, I'm innocent! I didn't know anything! You can't just abandon me!"

Samuel looked at her face. Every ounce of affection he had ever shown her now felt like a grotesque, humiliating joke.

"Don't call me Dad."

All color drained from Sienna's face. Her voice trembled violently. "Dad..."

Samuel pointed a shaking finger at the door. "Get out."
