Melody smiled, a flicker of mockery in her eyes. "You don't need to worry about us, Ms. Simmons."
She turned to Evie, lowering her voice. "Come on, Evie, let's go in."
Evie shot Seraphina a deliberate glare, tilting her chin up proudly as she strutted in behind Melody.
Tiffany pouted. "What's she so cocky about? If they get rejected at the door, it's going to be humiliating."
Hearing Tiffany's remark, Melody paused for a second but said nothing, continuing to the hostess stand.
"Hello, I have a Platinum Elite Membership. Do you have a table available?"
The hostess checked the card and said, "I'm so sorry, miss. We are at full capacity right now. I can't seat you."
She paused, gesturing to a stack of small folding stools nearby. "However, we can offer you some stools to sit on while you wait."
Melody stared at the tiny stools, her mouth twitching.
She demanded premium service, not to be handed two cheap stools in exchange for her elite membership.
With her status, sitting on a tiny stool would make her look like a circus monkey on display.
"Hahaha!" Tiffany clutched her stomach, laughing so hard tears welled in her eyes. "Wow, such an exclusive Platinum Elite Membership! I bow to your greatness!"
Melody's composed facade nearly cracked.
But she still had a backup plan.
She turned to the hostess. "Please go find Manager Charles Chambers and tell him a friend is here."
The hostess's expression shifted slightly as she looked at Melody.
Her tone softened immediately. "Please wait a moment."
She hurried off.
Melody remained silent, simply turning around to shoot a smug smile in Seraphina's direction.
Tiffany frowned. "Look at how smug she is. It's so annoying."
"Just ignore her," Seraphina said, patting Tiffany's hand.
